Yawn. Today would be the perfect day to curl up in bed with a good book and a mug of hot cocoa. It's been raining since I woke up. Instead of getting cozy in the cold, drizzly storm, I worked a pick-up shift at the dessert shop. The shop was quiet. I spent my shift watching business people run up and down the street in their high heels or ties with big, black umbrellas keeping them dry. (Side note: I really need a new umbrella. And I want the color to pop in the rain. Bright umbrellas triumph dreary days, you know.)
Tonight I am going to see a play on campus with a couple friends. I love student performances and may try to get involved with the spring performances. (Backstage only, please.)
Tomorrow boyfriend M and I are going to try a new donut shop, watch our football game, and go out for a few drinks.
